We need you to get your boots on, get motivated and above all, get sponsored for our Ben Nevis trek which is raising money for our Love Water, Love Life campaign. The campaign aims to highlight water shortages in the third world and water wastage in the UK. Come with us to the Scottish highlands and conquer the highest peak in the UK at a whopping 1,344m (okay it's not Everest but hardly your average walk in the park!).
Many people in developing countries walk for hours a day in difficult terrain, in immense heat and carry heavy water pots just to get water. We hope that by taking on this challenge, you will get an inkling of what it feels like for people who make such a tough journey everyday. It's also about appreciating the water that we take for granted -at least we can reach for a water bottle if we get thirsty on the way up and have a much needed shower afterwards! Your donations will go towards building wells in countries such as Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and Cambodia so that people have access to clean water, free from contamination and diseases. No matter how big or how small, their donations can make a difference to some of the 1.1 billion people who lack access to clean water in the third world.
